Coach Bo Sports Camp aims to provide a fun, supportive environment for kids ages 6-12 to
develop their athletic skills while promoting physical activity, teamwork, sportsmanship and
confidence.

Location: Allied Gardens Recreation Park - 5155 Greenbrier Ave, San Diego, CA 92120
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-2pm
Session 1: July 13-17    Session 2: July 20-24

Coach Bo's Background

Cameron Bocanegra- Physical Education Teacher & Coach
Coach Bo is a dedicated physical education teacher and coach with over 20 years of experience
in fostering the physical, emotional, and social growth of students from elementary to high
school. With a strong belief in the power of movement to improve students' overall well-being,
Coach Bo has spent nearly two decades shaping the next generation of athletes and learners in
both classroom and extracurricular settings.
 

Coach Bo earned his B.A. from San Diego State University and his M.A. from California
University of Pennsylvania, both of which laid a solid foundation for his work in physical
education. Coach Bo has worked in various educational settings, focusing on creating
environments where students feel safe, engaged, and empowered. He believes that every
student, regardless of skill level, should feel confident and excited to engage in physical activity.
Coach Bo’s classes are designed to improve motor skills, promote teamwork, and instill core
values such as sportsmanship, respect, and the importance of working together as a team.

Outside of his professional life, Coach Bo is a proud husband to Elizabeth and father to Elliana.
As a family they enjoy spending time together through activities like bike rides, attending
sporting events, family trips, and exploring new destinations on road trips.
